Type of worship

There is a rhythm when it comes to worship. We have two different styles of worship services. Typically, on the first and third Sundays of the month, our worshp service is led by the worship team. When our worship team leads you can expect a guitar and drums playing more upbeat, contemporary music. On the second and fourth Sundays, we are led by a pianst playing classic hymns. We also gather around the Lord’s Table every first Sunday of every month. 

Nursery & children's church

If you are a family with young children we have opportunites for them! During the service, children under the age of 3, are welcomed to nursery. One of adults is always willing to watch them while you are in worship. If you have a child from 3 years to a student in Kindergarten, they are welcomed to attend children's church. They will spend the first few minutes with their families in the worship service, then they are released to learn about the Christian faith in a classroom setting. 

Sermon style

Every Sunday, we gather to both worship and to hear a message from God. All sermons are rooted in the Word of God, informed by reformed theology, and relevant to our daily lives.

During the fall, everyone is invited to join an all church book read. During this season sermons are delivered based on topics found in scripture that we are also reading in the book. Then, beginning in Advent, we begin a journey with the Revised Common Lectionary through the life of Jesus that ends with Pentecost. After Pentecost, we start a summer series that is usually based on one particular book of the Bible.
